About Lauren... 

Singer-Songwriter Lauren Gruwell was born in Southern Germany, on a US Military base. Her love for singing started at a very young age. She was selected to sing the national anthem at an Utah Jazz Game at the age of 12 and has worked as a professional studio musician for various composers throughout the years. Lauren headlined for the Days of 47 KUTV POPS Concert in 2021. Lauren recently returned from Nashville where she recorded a full-length country/pop album, produced by Grammy award winner Zach Allen. Lauren sang background vocals for the “This is Jesus” tour, which featured artists such as Michael W. Smith, Jordin Sparks, and Jordan Smith. Her music can be heard on FM 100.3, Sunday Sounds. Lauren has extensive involvement in the Miss America Organization. The titles she has held include Miss Payson 2007, Miss UVU 2009, and Miss Utah County 2010. On the Miss Utah stage, Lauren won overall best interview out of 52 women, won the swimsuit preliminary, and placed in the top ten. Lauren earned her bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and later went on to earn her Master’s degree in Education (reading and literacy emphasis). Lauren currently resides in Utah with her husband and four beautiful children.
