Be A Light Tour
For the past two years, I have been poured myself into developing a presentation for teenagers. This presentation is intended to foster a culture of awareness, kindness, and support for others. As a suicide prevention advocate, I am incredibly passionate about doing what I can to help shed light on a topic that has traditionally been hard and too taboo to talk about. This presentation will include my story, the story of others, original music, original animated stories, survivor interviews, and much more.

This presentation is very unique, and I am eager to get into schools and have an open conversation with teens about these tough issues. I firmly believe that we can help save lives if we open our mouths. Not all suicides can be prevented, but I believe that we can help some people who are struggling to make a different choice. Every person matters. Every soul has a purpose. One light burned out too soon, is one too many. I hope you'll join me in my desire to "be a light" to others.Below you will find a few pieces of the presentaiton that I have worked so hard on. I hope these songs/videos can help someone who sees them.
This video features photos of lives gone too soon. We honor these beautiful souls who lost their battle of mental health. May we always be kind to those around us. We never know what battles they are fighting in their heart and mind.

Meet Sally. Sally struggles with anxiety. On the inside, she feels like a house on fire. She screams for help internally, but feels like no one can hear her. Isn't that how anxiety/depression can feel sometimes? Why is it so hard for us to open our mouth and ask for help? Instead we hold it all in, and try to deal with our struggles in isolation. Watch Sally as she navigates her struggles, and meets a kind person along the way, who helps to make all the difference.

The "Be a Light" Presentation is inspired by my brother Jordan, who took his life at the age of 18. It is dedicated to all those who lost their battle of mental health. Too many beautiful souls, gone too soon!
